Sax

A freelance musician and a lover of Jazz, Roger has been playing music all his life. His experience includes having played with some of New Zealand’s top show bands including Howard Morrison, Maori Showbands, NZ Symphony Orchestra, various Jazz combos and contemporary bands.

Roger can often be found jamming on the street in which ever town he may be performing. He has been a member of The Pink Floyd Experience for about 8-9 years and first came into contact with the band while he was working as a shop assistant in a music store in Rotorua, NZ.

Roger moved to Wellington a year or so later and found himself auditioning as a replacement Sax player. Roger is also very accomplished at playing Taonga Puoro (traditional Maori wind instruments) as well as many other indigenous instruments.
